Seaweed Facts

Seaweed Lightener is made from a combination of Fruity Booster and a natural catalyst system made from Irish Moss seaweed, which is known for it's complex mineral content. The Organic & Mineral developer which is mixed with the Seaweed Lightener contains a large amount of avocado oil which conditions the hair throughout the colouring process and leaves the hair feeling in fantastic condition afterwards.

Unlike regular chemical bleach, Seaweed Lightener does not contain ammonia, so the hair shaft doesn't swell and cause damage to the hair. This lack of 'swelling' inside the foil packets also means that we can get the highlights very near the root of the hair, therefore giving a much more natural effect.

There is no smell, this means the salon does not contain unpleasant ammonia fumes.

Seaweed Lightener works a little more slowly than conventional bleaches, but much more gently. The developer has less oxygen content than eyelash colour, and yet still achieves clear blonde tones. It also has the advantage that it can be used on hair that is already chemically treated. The degree of lightening achievable is the same as traditional bleach and peroxide.
